Symptom
You need to capture information behind a firewall with MOM
Cause
This is by design
Solution
Mom Uses the ports 1270 UDP and TCP for remote agent and management of the server. The UDP is used for heartbeat messages.
When you want to use mom for gathering information about remote server systems you need to open these ports on the firewall.
