LKBEN10823: How to disable the autostart of programs under Windows XP.
Symptom
You need to disable autostart.

Solution
To disable the autostart of programs under Windows XP take the following steps:
Click start -> run -> msconfig
Choose the tab startup.
Now you see a list of Programs that are beeing loaded automatically when Windows starts up.
Note: Be careful which program you turn off, some are vital to your system.
