LKBEN11498: How to check if bitlocker is active via powershell


Symptom

You have to make shure your hard disk is encrypted

Cause

Especially on mobile devices, HD encryption is important

Solution

To check if your hard drive is encrypted with bitlocker, you can use the following powershell command:

Get-BitLockerVolume

This will show you the Protection Status as "on" in the last column.
