LKBEN11609: How to check the windows password policy from the command line?
Symptom
You need to check the setting for the passwords.
Cause
You changed the settings for your UEM clients but need to know if the systems received it.
Solution
An easy way to check the password policy is to use the command line and type:
net accounts
The result on a german system should look like:
Abmelden erzwingen nach: Nie
Minimales Kennwortalter (Tage): 1
Maximales Kennwortalter (Tage): 2
Minimale Kennwortlänge: 8
Länge der Kennwortchronik: 5
Sperrschwelle: 16
Sperrdauer (Minuten): 30
Sperrüberprüfungsfenster (Minuten): 30
Rolle des Computers: WORKSTATION
Der Befehl wurde erfolgreich ausgeführt.
