LKBEN11650: How to install Windows 11 on a not supported CPU?

Symptom

You have a good CPU but it is not supported by Windows 11.

Cause

Windows 11 comes with certain restrictions for the hardware.

Solution

Please note: Microsoft does not recommend the installation of Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

If you need or want to install Windows 11, you need to deactivate the check for TPM 2.0 and CPU.

To do this you need to open the registry and do the following:

Start menu -> regedit -> HKLM -> system -> setup -> MoSetup ->

create a new DWORD 32 bit value and name it:

AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU and set it to 1

Key in one string: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup]
"AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU"=dword:00000001
