LKBEN11706: How to generate a new GUID for Windows.
Symptom
You need to create a new GUID and you do have powershell or cmd.
Cause
Sometimes new globally unique identifiers are needed.
Solution
To create a new GUID, you open a powershell and enter the following command:
[guid]::NewGuid()
Your output should look like the following but will everytime be different:
PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> [guid]::NewGuid()
Guid
----
aa9bd6f3-fd34-46b1-94a4-5de54e9b7694
