LKBEN11729: Where is the MDMDeviceID stored in the registry on Windows?

Symptom

You need to find the UUID for the machine rolled out into an MDM or UEM.

Cause

Every client from an MDM gets a unique identifier which is stored locally.

Solution

The UUID for an MDM enrolled client ist stored in the registry into the following path:

HKLM\Software\Micorosoft\Provisioning\OMADM\MDMDeviceID

This device ID is used by the UEM (e.g. Workspace ONE) to communicate with the device.

Hope it helps.
