LKBEN10609: Howto Rename Multiple Files at once with Windows Explorer

You have multiple files and need to rename them
Cause
none
Solution
You start Windows Explorer and select multiple files in a folder. You do this by pressing and holding down the CTRL key while you click on the files. After you select the files, press F2. (to rename them) Type the new name, and then press ENTER. The highlighted state of all files except one disappears. It looks as if you are renaming one file! After you press ENTER, all the files are renamed. All the files have the same name with a number in parentheses appended to the name. The number is needed to make them unique.
