LKBEN10692: Howto troubleshoot the file replication services of domain controllers
Symptom
You need to look at the file replication services of the DCs of your domain
Cause
Firewall restrictions can be the cause of replication problems
Solution
The file replication services are responsible for synchronising the sysvol and netlogon shares. You can use the free microsoft tool sonar to troubleshoot FRS. You need to download and install the tool first. You can start it from a command line by typing sonar. It has a graphical user interface which is easy to understand.
