Solution

URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator.

URLs specifies where an identified network resource is available and the mechanism for retrieving it. Colloquial an URL is also called a Web address.

An URL must have the following syntax: resource_type://domain:port/filepathname?query_string#anchor

An examples for this syntax are: http://example.org:80 or https://example.com/
