LKBEN11720: How to get the userid or id of the logged on user on MacOS?

Symptom

You need to get the id because you want to use a LauchAgent.

Cause

This is by design.

Solution

To find the id of the current logged on user on a Mac, you can use the "id" command.

#show the id of the user
id -u

You can also show the id of some other user by doing the following:

#id of user Lubby
id -u Lubby

Hope this helps.
