LKBEN10707: Howto draw Group Policy Objects (GPO) from Active Directory
Symptom
errors in Applications, wrong configuration settings although configured through Group Policies
Cause
GPOs might noch be set due to bad network connection or unknown reasons
Solution
When settings seem not to be configured correctly, although they are set through Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), this command might help:
Open a command shell and type
"gpupdate /force"
This will draw your configured Group Policy settings from a domain controller for sure. After the settings have been applied, the connected user will need to log off and on again to get also his usersettings to work.
