LKBEN11603: How to check the signing of a pkg installation package on MacOS?
Symptom
You need to make sure the package is signed correctly.
Cause
This is by design.
Solution
You can check the signature of a package with the pkgutil command:
pkgutil --check-signature PackageName.pkg
