LKBEN11625: What is the at sign @ on a Mac when you do an ls -la.
Symptom
When you check the permissions, you see the at sign at the end. (e.g. -rw-r--r--@)
Cause
This is by design and means that the file has extended attributes.
Solution
When you list the files, you notice an at sign at the end. This means there are extended attributes.
To list these attributes you use:
ls -l
or
ls -@
To remove these attributes, you can use:
xattr -c filename.ext
