LKBEN11719: How to validate a plist file on MacOS?

Symptom

You need to validate a plist file which you created by yourself.

Cause

This is important when you create LaunchDaemons or LaunchAgents.

Solution

To ensure a plist (a property list file) is formatted correctly, you can use the plutil command.

plutil -lint myLaunchAgent.plist

Hope this helps.
